Scouting actively engages and supports young people and adults in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.
First established in 1929, we are a long established, diverse Scout group based on the fringes of the beautiful Holmwood Common, run by a welcoming and enthusiastic volunteer adult team with a collective ethos to have fun, whilst learning new skills and to develop characterful young people within our community.
The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
